Golden Eagle Festival

  Day 1 Flight to Ulgii
  Morning pick up at your guide at your hotel and transfer to airport and take a flight /3hrs/ to Bayan-Ulgii province. Meet with your driver and local service team at the domestic airport of Ulgii town. Move to town center. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit local ethnographic museum and local market. Kazakh local folk concert and Welcome dinner.

  Travel details:	1.5hr/ 55kms to airport, flight to Ulgii.
  Accommodation:	Standard single/twin room at local hotel in Ulgii
  Meals included:	Lunch; Dinner

Days 2 Golden Eagle festival 1^st day
After breakfast, we will drive to Eagle festival start point.

Program in 1st day of the festival:

The official opening ceremony commences with the participants parading in on horseback with their eagles.

The competition begins with all eagle hunters will show their hunting outfit and accessories, the most elaborate and beautiful of which receive the highest points.

The festival includes a Uriankhai archery competition. The Uriankhai are a small ethnic group of Mongolia and known for their unique style of archery. Instead of shooting at a raised target, a leather ball is thrown into the distance.

Also, you can see 2 humped camel races as well as a sort of fashion show where couples would ride around the arena and show off their traditional outfits and camels.

In the evening, we will enjoy at traditional concert with some traditional songs and music at local theater in Ulgii town.

Days 3 Golden Eagle festival 2^nd day
After breakfast, Today, we continue to attend at the 2nd day of the festival. The eagle hunters will compete with some traditional and interesting games.

The Kyz Kuar (Catch up with a girl) game show is a traditional horseback riding game for couples were the boys being whipped by girls if the girl can catch the boy.

Calling eagle on arm. (Eagle will be released from top of mountain, and trainer must meet up eagle from the bottom just among people down)

Closing and award ceremony for best eagles with their best trainers.

Day 4 Flight back to Ulaanbaatar
Transfer to local airport for taking a flight to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. End of the service.

Included: All activities described in the itinerary, Local hotel stay (3 nights) in countryside, English speaking guide service, mineral bottled water 1.5L per person per day, RT Domestic flight /ULN-ULG-ULN/, Eagle Festival fee, entrance fees to Protected Areas, all transfers by private car to airport and by 4WD Japanese jeep in the countryside. Meals of breakfast, lunch and dinner as mentioned per day itinerary.
