DAY 1
Fly to South Gobi
Day 1 Flight to Dalanzadgad town & Yol valley
Morning pick up at your guide at your hotel and transfer to airport and flight to Dalanzadgad town. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you at the airport, then move to Dalanzadgad town.
Visit The Gobi Museum of Nature and History. The museum has a collection of more than 4,000 exhibits and artifacts. And there are many paleontological findings of the ancient civilization in the Gobi area.
Then move to Ger camp. Rest time. Lunch at Ger camp. Afternoon we will drive to Yol valley (Lammergeier’s Gorge). This picturesque place is nestled between the beautiful peaks of the Gurvan Saikhan Mountain and shelters rich wildlife. Visit Gobi museum and trekking through the valley.

DAY 2
Travel to Khongor Els
Travel to Khongor sand dunes. Known as Singing sand dunes, the Khongor dunes are up to 300ms high, 15kms wide, and 180kms long.

DAY 3
Visit to nomad family and camel riding
Morning we will walk through the Golden sand dunes. The view is incredible from top of the dunes. Lunch at Ger camp. Optional camel riding is available.

DAY 4
Travel to Bayanzag
Morning drive to Dream Gobi Ger camp. Lunch at Ger camp. Afternoon drive to Tugrugiin Shiree, known for the famous fossils of the “Fighting Dinosaurs,” discovered by Dr. Barsbold, the Mongolian-Polish joint expedition leader. The fossils contain the skeletal remains of a Protoceratops and Velociraptor locked in deadly combat. You can find dinosaur bones from the area (Please note, we cannot promise to find any fossils). Several fossilized young dinosaurs in their eggs were found here.

DAY 5
Day 5 Bayanzag – The Flaming Cliffs
Today is for the exploration of the famous Flaming Cliffs. The place was named as ‘Flaming Cliffs’ by Roy Chapman Andrews, an American explorer who explored the Mongolian Gobi Desert and found Asia’s first dinosaur skeleton and eggs. The red cliff gleams with sunlight and is visible from far away.
Take a short walk on the ridge of the cliff and look for the pieces of Dinosaur bones, then drive a little further to see why they call this place Bayanzag, which means “rich in saxaul shrubs.” Out here in this remote wilderness, you’ll see the spectacular blue sky’s which Mongolia is famous for.

DAY 6
Day 6 Travel to Khavtsgait Petroglyphs
Today drive to Khavtsgait mountain, where we can find many interesting ancient rock painting art-petroglyphs.
Hiking up to the mountain and exploring incredible drawings dating back to Bronze and Iron ages about 3000-5000BC

DAY 7
Day 7 Flight back to Ulaanbaatar
Travel back to Dalanzadgad and flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. End of the service.
